Today we went to Liangshan waterfall to play water. Liangshan waterfall is at 茂林國家風景區. It is a good place for playing water and looking good scene. At summer days people all like to go to places that have water. A lot of people will go to the beach or go to the swimming pools swimming. But you can go to some nature places to play. Forests, mountains, waterfalls, lakes, small rivers are good places that we can go. Liangshan is a good place for people. We went there and saw the waterfall it was grandeur. We played a long time. The water was very clean and pure. We had a lot of fun at there. There were a lot of butterflies and birds at there. It was a nature place for people to go!!
I like Liangshan waterfall. It’s beautiful. Maybe some days after we can come here again!!!

Wednesday, July 25th
Today we went to Taichung’s National Museum of Natural Science. At 5:30a.m. We woke up and ate our breakfast ready to go out. We went to New Zuoying train station because we were going to Taichung with HSR. HSR is a kind of fast speed train it is very similar to France’s TGVs and England’s Euro-star. HSR can get on a high speed of three hundred kilometers per hour. The scene when you see from the inside of the HSR will be very cool. This was the first time I get on the HSR it was very comfortable. We arrived at Taichung’s time was 7:57a.m. Then we went to the bus stop to wait for buses that goes to the National museum. Luckily we met a friendly bus driver he told us that we should take which bus to the National museum and how to get back to the Taichung HSR train station. We went on to his bus. My dad talks with him so my dad knew that he was from Kaohsiung. When we got to the National museum and got off the bus and said thank you to the bus driver. We got into the museum and saw a lot of things. First, we saw a giant squid. Then we went to the first exhibition room and it was about Gondwana’s wildlife. This exhibition provide a world first display of the fossil record from Australia and South American sources and it was describing the wildlife of the great southern super land is Gondwana, from 3.8 billion years to now. Next we went to Oceania and Space. We finished the first floor so we went to the second floor and look at some animals. Then we ate lunch. And we saw a lot of exhibitions. We played at the circus it was some large plastic toys for an hour and went to the botanical garden it was kind of like Amazon rain forest the coconut tree was 8 meters high it was almost higher that the botanical garden. The guide told us about the botanical garden. Then we happily left the botanical garden. We went to Sogo that was beside the national museum to take a rest and ate our dinner. We happily went back to the train station and got back to Kaohsiung. We had a very nice day!!
December 3rd Sunday
Today we went to 觀音山 to ride horses. At three o’clock we got there our friends are all there too. We saw a girl was riding a horse that looked great! We were all very happy to have a ride on the horse. The boss took us to the stables to see how the stable looked like a big house for horse. The boss said a lot of facts and things about horses. Then we went to ride horses the horse’s height was 160cm that was tall for me but at least I got up. I was very excited. The horse started to walk I think that was easy for me. But the second turn was a little bit harder the horse ran quickly it was just like I sat on the winds it was comfortable I feel very good!!! After riding horse we went to the stable to give horses for their snacks ----carrot. When we gave them the carrot they open their big mouth to eat the carrots also the horses slaver was yuck!! We went back home at 6 o’clock. Today was a great day.

Today was the Kaohsiung exercise competition(高雄市健康操比賽). It is at the culture center. Our school Her Bin elementary school went to the competition. There were a lot of school teams at there. I was very nervous. I think that somebody at our team will do something wrong or not doing in the right way. I like to do the exercise but, some of the classmates didn’t like to do the exercise. My teacher, principal, and general went to the culture centre to watch the competition. When it was our turn we were really nervous. Then the competition start the music started we were doing the exercise everyone did the right exercise but we didn’t have a price! We didn’t know that who is the 1st. But we did our best!! At last when we finish the exercise competition there was another cow competition we need to use tetra pack to make a cow. We didn’t have enough tetra pack and we lost again. We were very disappointed. At last we went back to school. We were very happy at last we went back to our home!!

Today was a really fun day! Today we have heard a story called “The great big enormous turnip”. The story started on 2:30. The speech had 90 minutes long. Actually, the audience came in twos and threes to give a show after story time. The teller was a British woman. Her name is Cassandra. After the speech, she said we are brilliant! After that, we go to rock climbing. My brother and I went to play “Sky Climbing”. It is a climbing machine that tells you how fast your rock climbing is. We went on climbing. First we climbed a 3×7 square rock climbing. We went on with a 5×6 rock climbing with a rope. We tried a rock climbing 3 stories high! That was enormous! After the activities, we had to pick a card from the box. I got a toy from McDonald’s. And everything went on with happiness.

Sunday, May 28, 2006 Today we went to Love River. We saw our teacher Mark was doing exercise. They had a dragon boat team called 「Being sport 伊士邦」they were a good team. They raced dragon boat with another team. In the first 20 meters they were ahead about 10 meters. Then they started to row faster and faster. They were very good at it. They didn’t have any mistakes at all. I found out that boy’s team had the big dragon boat but, the girl’s team just had the small dragon boat. I also found out in a team there were 20 people. They were all foreigners. At start our team was very fast. I thought they will win and they did win. Their time was 2’.25”.47. It was very fast. Lots of friend of them ran after them and cheered for them. I was very happy about they won the game!!

This afternoon we went to Chijin(旗津) to play and build sand castles. It was a windy day. Sands hit on our body. In the far part of the beach we saw 17 ships sailing away. In our sight the sea had very big waves were hitting the beach. When we looked up we saw airplane flying on the sky. Seagulls were flying together. Dad, Max, and I were building sand castles. Max was getting water to let us use. I was helping digging the tunnels to let water couldn’t broke our sand castles. At last our sand castles were big and strong. About the time the sun set and we were going to finish. We were finding shells. Then when we were packing up and went to a school it was beside the beach. We went in and washed off the sand. Then we went to have our dinner. When we were deciding which restaurant we were going to eat. We saw it was the 333 years anniversary of the temple in Chijin(旗津). We had our dinner. We went to a seafood restaurant. The things in the restaurant were delicious. We saw there was a big show. Puppets were moving and dancing around. We had a fun day today!!
